The Broken Hill Library provides library resources and services to Broken Hill and the Far West NSW. It is also provides a local gateway to State, National and International library networks.

We use Facebook to complement information already on our council website. Sometimes this promotes discussion among our followers, however as an "open comment" page we moderate comments that are rude or offensive.

It may not be cool to "like" a council's library page, but if you are a Facebook user and you like the mobile age of communication, we invite you to participate in this page.
We do not encourage notice board type content on council's library page, and will remove notices that are promoting events or causes.
